Torqued sports fishing has provided me with some of the most exhilarating experiences out on the water. They prioritize building an inclusive, fun, and educational atmosphere so that everyone (no matter your age, your experience level, if you’ve ever been on a boat) can enjoy deep sea fishing. Their knowledge of fishing off San Diego is unmatched and they genuinely want to share / teach the craft. This is a very intimate charter as you and your experience is their top priority. You get to explore the waters of Mexico, the Coronado Islands, San Diego Bay, or even all the way to San Clemente Island in pursuit of fishing frenzies. They will do everything in their power so you can land some of the most incredible fish that Southern California has to offer. Mahi, Yellowtail, Tuna, Rockfish, the list goes on. Not only do they know their fishing, but their whale watching tours are unreal. We recently go to see a pod of over a thousand dolphins! They have seen Blue whales, Humpbacks, Gray whales, and even some rare species whales if you’re lucky. As an occasional angler I’d say Torqued Sport Fishing is hands down the best charter experience I’ve had! The crew was incredibly friendly, professional, and passionate about what they do. The boat was spotless and well-equipped, perfect for all skill levels.
I’ve been out with them a few times. They’ve taken us to some great spots, and we caught some amazing fish while having a blast. What stood out most was how welcoming and enthusiastic they were, making the trip unforgettable. I highly recommend them and can’t wait to book again!

Always an amazing time on the water with Torqued Sportfishing. The boat is very comfortable. It’s great not being stuck on a slow moving boat with 80 other people. My go to charter in SD, they find the fish!

These guys are the best! Look no further! Had the most unreal day and experience with John and Alec. They were extremely prepared from the moment I showed up until getting off the boat. They could not have been more fun to spend time with and we caught a ton of fish! Awesome hosts that were flexible to what I wanted to catch and see. The only thing better than the captains and fish was the boat. It felt like a brand new, state of the art boat that got us to so many different fishing spots in lighting time. We also had star link on the boat (thank you Elon) so WiFi was not a problem which was cool. Had to make sure Instagram knew I was catching fish. Can’t wait to get back out there. Can not recommend this group enough. They are seriously too notch!!

As a beginner, I knew virtually nothing about fishing. The Torqued guys helped my buddy and I every step of the way until we were reeling mahi in. They provided a fun, enthusiastic environment while making sure we learned along the way.

Had a wonderful experience getting out on the water with Torqued Sportfishing. These guys are so clearly passionate about fishing and are the perfect guides for both newbies and those who are more experienced. They were extremely patient and made sure to explain everything as we went. For those of us with less experience they were hands on without being overbearing, and always checked everyone was comfortable and having a good time. They have all the gear you could need and the boat is also beautiful and feels brand new! Can’t recommend booking a charter with them enough!

My boyfriend has been getting more and more into fishing so we decided to go out one day on a charter with Torqued to hopefully catch some fish to make our own sushi!! It was my first time fishing in the ocean; I was a little intimidated but Captain John and Captain Alec were so helpful in teaching me everything I needed to know. From the moment we booked the charter we felt taken care of and excited to get out there. Everyone was super patient with me and the Captains set us up perfectly for success. I had never caught a fish before but John and Alec made it happen!! I caught a tuna, yellowtail and multiple mahi. The crew even filleted the fish to make it easy on us when we got home. The hand rolls, nigiri and Mahi tacos we made after were amazing and so fresh. We even have a bunch leftover in our freezer!!
I will definitely book with them again!!
