This trip provides a unique opportunity to fish a location that feels remote, yet can be accessed from San Diego in under an hour—passports for all passengers are required.

Here are a few considerations for a Coronado Islands trip:
- Semi-remote islands situated ~10 miles offshore, 15 miles south of San Diego offer incredible scenery and shelter on windy days
- Islands have no full time human residents and exhibit marine bird and wildlife in its natural environment
- Generally better chances to capture larger game species year round
- The majority of the species targeted are great table fare (although keeping fish is not required)
- Extremely high chance of success to capture various species
