Full Day Offshore

Thrilling deep sea adventures to remember

Join us for an unforgettable adventure into the depths. This is a true deep-sea fishing expedition for species such as Tuna, Yellowtail, and Dorado. Seek out the best grounds with our vessel’s speed, range, and operational upgrades. We’re well-equipped to effectively cover more water than the competition. Offshore trips are generally offered during peak season, mid-May through October.

The catch of a lifetime is always a possibility offshore

Species typically targeted depending on range/ availability, and typical months for targeting each:

  • Yellowtail (June through November)
  • Pacific Bluefin Tuna (May through October)
  • Dorado (Mahi Mahi) (Mid July through mid October)
  • Yellowfin Tuna (July through October)
  • Pacific bonito (May through July)
  • Skipjack tuna (Mid August through October)
  • Less typically targeted species
    – Striped Marlin (Mid July through September)
    – Mako Shark (April through November)
    – Swordfish (October through November)

Here are a few considerations for an Offshore trip:

  • Further travel possible
  • Chance to capture world-renown pelagic species
  • The species targeted are exceptional table fare (although keeping fish is not required)
  • These trips may be higher risk, higher reward
  • We recommend preparing physically and mentally for an extended day on the water. Do your best to get sufficient rest, and bring plenty of food and hydrating beverages for an optimal experience

*Clients considering this trip may also inquire about the opportunity to fish San Clemente Island, available pending US Navy operations and general conditions. The island is profound in its history, scenery, and of course fishery. Its a place unlike anywhere else on earth. Situated approximately 60 miles from San Diego, we cover offshore grounds in transit which offers opportunities for pelagic species. The island then provides ideal habitat for a variety of species similar to the Coronado Islands. If we offer this trip however, we plan to target large White Seabass and Yellowtail while also having the option to pursue Calico Bass, Halibut, and more.
